Super Junior wow the fans with drag turns, hilarious mimicry and hit after hit after hit

Super Junior’s “Super Show 3″ at Impact Arena on Saturday was proof that the Korean boy band hasn’t let its high standards slip in the least.

That concert and the follow-up on Sunday were among 16 on the group’s third Asian tour, covering 13 countries.
Now down to “just” 10 members following the departures of Han Geng, Kibum and Kangin, Junior nevertheless made a good impression on most of the fans packed into the arena.
Leeteuk, Heechul, Yesung, Shindong, Sungmin, Eunhyuk, Donghae, Siwon, Ryeowook and Kyuhyun are as childishly cute as ever, making fun of each other – and hugging and kissing each other. The fans, mostly girls, loved every minute, and the screaming never stopped.

Song Joongki and U-know Yunho show off their drawing skills on SBS “Running Man”

TVXQ’s U-know Yunho and actor Song Joongki have evoked a lot of laughter on SBS “Running Man” due to their drawing skills. The members of “Running Man” were split into two teams and played a game where one needed to describe a word through a drawing and relay it to the last person. The last person in line would then have to guess what the drawing is.

U-know Yunho and Song Joongki’s drawing skills were revealed when they attempted to draw a rhino and a toilet, respectively. Song Joongki’s drawing drew laughter from everyone as his drawing looked more like a robot than a toilet. One of U-know Yunho’s first attempts was to draw a ginseng, but the drawing ended up looking like a radish instead. His rhino drawing was also completely unrecognizable by other players.
On the same episode of running man, TVXQ succeeded in their mission and the “Running Man” team were punished for the first time. In addition, TVXQ also danced to SNSD’s “Gee” and ABBA’s “Dancing Queen”.
What do you think about their drawing skills?

JYJ: Being banned has encouraged us to be creative

In the midst of what can only be put lightly as a mountain of obstacles, JYJ is putting their best foot forward and unintentionally kicking up the music scene yet again.
Now months after the release of their first album, “The Beginning”, and yet only one live performance (at the KBS 2010 Acting Awards), most would not be surprised if the boys were a bit frustrated. However, the reality? They are optimistic, learning, and growing from the challenges.

Changmin trained hard for his nude scene in “Paradise Ranch”

Max Changmin trained his body for a month for his “nude” scenes in the SBS drama, ‘Paradise Ranch.’
A representative from SM Entertainment stated on January 27th through a phone interview with Sports Chosun, “Changmin only ate chicken breasts, sweet potatoes, and egg whites for a month to improve his body. His body was already good, but he worked to build up more muscles to show the viewers a better image.”
On the January 24th episode of the drama, much to the delight of many fans, Changmin acted out a scene in which he is almost entirely naked (save the important parts).
Changmin showed off his rock hard body through this scene, and the producers censored his private parts with cute hearts.
The representative explained, “After the broadcast, some people were wondering if he acted completely naked, but he was actually wearing a swimsuit. We filmed that scene early on, but Changmin did the naked scene without hesitation and had fun filming it with Lee Yeon Hee.

How are Heechul and Bada similar?

Super Junior’s Kim Heechul recently revealed on MBC’s Radio Star that since his training days before debuting, he often heard that he was similar to singer Bada.
On January 26th, while Heechul talked with guest Shoo regarding her past days, he expressed, “People said that because of our shared blood type AB that I am exactly like Bada in many aspects.” When Kim Gura commented that Bada’s personality is strong, Shoo replied, “This is because Bada unni likes this kind of work and is the leader.” After Shoo’s attempt to protect Bada’s image, Heechul questioned, “I heard that Bada is a perfectionist,” to which Shoo cringed and answered, “She wants to be a perfectionist, but when she is obsessed with a certain ‘feel’ we have to hide that.”
Shoo then continued, “Bada unni would always dance and sing in front of the bathroom at the television broadcast building. When the clothes stylists asked where Bada is, we would find her covered in sweat absorbed in the music.” Furthermore, Kim Heechul also added, “I heard that Shoo is the kindest. People say to me that my personality is similar to Bada’s.” Shoo agreed to Heechul’s statement, saying, “I heard that too. Were you type AB blood too? Your members must have a hard time,” causing Heechul to be flustered.

SHINee’s Jonghyun answers the question, “When did you get so handsome?”

Talks between SHINee’s Jonghyun and his fans have been heating up the internet.
On a recent online community site, a post titled, “Jonghyun stop using the internet“, appeared. This captured the conversations that were carried out between the idol and his fans on a site where stars and fans can chat over text.
One fan used SBS’s popular TV drama Secret Garden’s line, “When did Kim Jong Hyun get so handsome? Was it since last year?”, to ask the singer a question. Jonghyun answered, “No. I’ve always been handsome”, making him a self-praising star.
Another fan texted, “Since always? I admit it’s true. This is why I fell in love with you”, and Jonghyun replied coolly, “I never told you to fall in love with me“, causing much laughter.
Others commented, “This is so funny. Jonghyun is cute”, “What a friendly idol! Keep talking more to us”, and “Get well soon so that I can see your face! I miss you”.
Witty and fan loving?  Is there anything more to love about this already-perfect idol?

TVXQ graces the cover of “GQ Japan”

After a long hiatus from the Japanese music industryTVXQ finally marked their return by gracing the cover of “GQ JAPAN” magazine.
While the shots were gorgeous, fans were more interested in the interview component, as it’s the first Japanese promotional effort the group has undergone with only two members, Yunho and Changmin.
The boys started off by commenting on their hopes for their career this year. Yunho said, “It’s been a while since we were able to resume our activities, so this will be very busy year for TVXQ.
Changmin stated, “From dancing to recording, it’s only the two of us from the the beginning to the end at this point. We have to make sure that all our activities could satisfy (the fans) with just the two of us. Therefore, the pressure we’ve been receiving has been getting bigger.”
Back in 2009, the group experienced a schism that resulted in three of its members leaving to form their own unit. The two who remained in the group had been working on solo activities in dramas and musicals. As the leader, Yunho mused over the revived activities of TVXQ. “The activities as a team would be the same (as before) basically, but I would say that my job as a leader became a little bit more manageable. It’s little easier to form our opinions, since we have only have two members now. We consult each other.
Although Changmin stated earlier that the group feels a lot of pressure, he believes that overcoming challenges will lead to better growth. “In order to take bigger responsibilities, I think we need to improve our abilities. Tohoshinki’s music alway needs to develop.
The duo will be releasing a new song titled, “Why? (Keep Your Head Down)” which is being used as the theme song for ongoing drama, “Utsukushii Rinjin“. Commenting about the new song, Yunho said, “We’ve talked a lot about this song. We are confident about it, since we made it by giving each other ideas to make something unique.
Tohoshinki will be making their first Japanese music program appearance through TV Asahi’s “MUSIC STATION” on January 28th.
